    ... told that thunderstorms were forecast for this afternoon so we decided to get the outdoor attractions done first. As we arrived just on opening time (9am) we were able to walk straight up to the Maid of the Mist boat ride with no queuing.     ... so while a group of people went back to the falls to see them at night a few of us decided to celebrate the trip and have some drinks around the campfire. It got fairly out of hand and by the time the rest of the group returned it was almost time for birthday cake for one of the girls.
