... a few hummingbirds and got quite close before they got very territorial and tried to dive bomb us. The park was really nice and with lots of ducks and peacocks hanging around. Lots of people had there dogs so that was nice. They also have a petting zoo but it was closed for the season. We walked for over 2 and a half hours and got some nice photos of the downtown and all the old buildings ...

... park... oh well, next time! I was pressed for time as I wanted to get to the hostel before dark, so I grabbed a few groceries at the Target and headed out. I settled into my dorm at the hostel with a yummy PB & J sandwich and prepared myself for the long drive to Jasper.

... and I thought it was funny though once I made my camera safe from the water.

Near the watering park, we also noticed a children's petting zoo. Mom and I decide to take a look at this zoo. Entrance to the zoo was by donation only. Mom and I walked through the zoo and saw many animals - from goats, to mice, to peacocks and hamsters. Mom even fed a llama with some grass.

There are many peacocks and ducks that roam ...

Sometimes things can get lost in translation here. There are lots of Americanisms but lots of Britishisms too. Weight is in lbs. Cars are automatics driven on the right. Words are spelt the English way ("colour", "centre"), they use celsius but they say chips and mean crisps. The latter one constantly gets me because they do it with sandwiches. Sandwich and chips.
