... up, so instead of a fun drive through the mountains it was an agonizing crawl behind motor homes and dump trucks. I think there were at least five construction sites where we had to stop and wait for a lead car to guide us through. Then I made a wrong turn, which cost me another ten minutes. And I skipped lunch to get there sooner. By the time I reached the hotel I was hot, tired, hungry, and ugly. A surprise ...

The breakfast was top notch but the most fascinating thing about this cafe was that the owner and his workers seemed to know every person that walked through their door. Everyone was polite and pleasant. Once breakfast was done we were on our way to the wine country.

Once again we were treated to a light ...

... a nice end to the day and we grabbed some crepes and sat on the lawn listening to a 15 year old, by the name of Anthonio Mendez, on open mic. His covers of folk artists really set the mood and it was truly a shame when the bell sounded and the evening was over (this happened at dusk, unfortunately).

Once again we made the short walk back to the inn, however, tonight we decided to relax in the hot tub and watch the ...
