    ... beautiful parts of mountains around the canyon but it made me think of The Sound of Music. I expected to see Julie Andrews at any minute. Long slow climb. Not too difficult but still took a lot of energy. Nothing really spectacular at the summit.     ... the Gasbuddy app to find the best diesel prices and RA Camping to find state park sites. The new Dish Network tailgater and the portable DVD player seem to be working ok and internet reception is good tonight. Technology...gotta love it.

    We made it to Utah Lake State Park. It's very warm. The kids are swimming and glad to be out of the truck. They have been very good travelers so far.

    On to Dead Horse State Park in Moab, UT tomorrow.
