American gps lady, didn't take us by the most direct route and took us through the back roads but it gave us an opportunity to see Connecticut, Maine and New Hampshire that you just don't see see from a highway. There is still a lot of snow in the countryside completely surrounding the houses and on the roofs. Just like in the postcards.       ... p.m. everyday without a problem.

      Kelly decided at noon she hadn't had enough yet..incredible. So she was on line for the lift and the operator checking passes looked at her tickets and told her she has a morning-only ticket and she has to leave the line...she's 90! She has a pin on her jacket that tells everyone she's 90! She skies for free anyway! Nope. Kicked out. When I heard this story, I have to admit I laughed pretty hard. She was in good spirits ...

      ... complicated operating the chair lifts in that area. Today, however, was a new day.

      We did one fast cruiser that runs underneath the main chair which was prime time corduroy that hadn't been touched yet, then made our way to the Aurora and Jordan peaks (the ones closed on Monday).

      ... quality time together doing something we both love and enjoy, we get to do it with a great group of individuals who also share our passion.

      Now, it doesn't stop with skiing on the mountain. Just today, we have gone skiing for about four hours, hit the weights in the gym, enjoyed the outdoor pool, and took a breather in the sauna (all of which are on the grounds of the Bethel Inn).

      ... 402ft pylons of the bridge had an observatory in it and a fort called Fort Knox at the base (not the one with all the gold).  We had ½ an hour to kill so we wandered into the local town of Bucksport for a look before heading back to do the tourist thing. The views from the observatory were worth the $7 entry as we could see all the way up the Penobscot River and surrounding islands and out to the Atlantic.  Although the peak ...
