Today we started the brining process which is required for smoking. We have a bunch of cut up fillets sitting in the mixture. Will smoke them tomorrow then shrink wrap them.
We leave here one week from tomorrow. Time to start packing. My fishing might just be over.
We took an early walk down to the bay. The tide is low and you can actually walk along the seashore. There is mostly small river rock, very little sand. Lots of plant life was washed in with the tide, a lot of small crabs, shells, drift wood, and even a large looked like a squid but probably something else. We're here! We arrived at Tiffany and Kevin's around 5:30pm. I'm not sure if they fully know what they are in for, but too late now!
