... of knowledge, so drinking was just fine by me. We met some cowboys... I was a little slow on the uptake and thought Kristin was just being her clever self when she asked them if they rode up on their horses. Turns out that funky smell and the horses outside belonged to said cowboys and everybody wondered why I found her comment so amusing. I blamed the wine. Happily, KT and I spent my last day in San Diego on the couch. ...

... some reason more eggs. I guess I'm going to make a few more crepes, they really are hard to resist.

When we came back, I made up Nik's card and left it by his door and headed downstairs where we made up an apple crumble that's now in the fridge. It may not be how his mom makes it, but I'm hoping he'll like it. Everyone deserves to be a bit special on their birthday. ... cups of tea, no Baileys. I was going to but we got lazy. Meh. I"m now pretty tired and disappointed I wasn't as productive as usual. Oh well, tomorrow's Sunday and I have videos to do and a list I can keep working at. I'm going to try and finish and email and some vocab tonight, then turn in for a good day tomorrow and hopefully the weather's nice.

On a different note, I WILL be in London next week. Ho yah.

Lots of Bristolian love,
