... people skiing were like pros and even the kids were good! There were some cuties that wouldn't have been older than three taking the lifts up and skiing down by themselves - MAD!! There is a great bar out the front of our hotel that looks out to the slopes called Vega Vega and we indulged in a cocktail or two for happy our after our days skiing.
All in all our ski experience was amazing and totally worth going five star all the way.

One surprise for us though was the playing field opposite our hotel. Mind you it was covered in snow but did appear to have Rugby goalposts! They looked like rugby posts but in Aspen? Didn't make any sense so today we went searching and found the 'Gentlemen of Aspen Rugby Club'. ... gate and was DNQ. We caught up with her at the finish area and although disappointed, she knew she would learn from the experience. She certainly has a beautiful smile and I am sure she will continue to follow her dream. We were up early and ready for this. A beautiful bluebird day. A hot breakfast and then all rugged up in our winter gear to walk/clamber up to the grandstand to watch today's action. The French team were taking some promotional photos and I am not sure if we photobombed them or they photobombed us. We all had a good laugh. I hope they perform well tomorrow.
