... put his GoPro on the roof so it took a picture every 2 seconds....the results are attached as a time lapse. Once we got to the top, we stopped off for a bit and walked around, however we were over 12,000 feet and their was sleet so it was pretty cold!! I think when we looked it was about 44 F which I believe is around 6/7 C. Brrrrr

The whole drive was just so awesome and beautiful ...

Turns out I must have had some sort of altitude sickness at 3000m above sea level... That happened on our hike in Santa Fe as well.. well, now I know :)

I recovered quickly and finished the hike at least...

... enjoy the scenery, which is always special through this part of the country. We drove south through Provo and then turned east into the mountains where the topography is breathtaking…hills and mountains where dark evergreen bushes and trees adorn a landscape of multi-shades of green groundcover and where stone walls line the highway in striations of tan and pink and orange…as colorful as a fall ...

So when we went the bed, I set the alarm for 6:00AM so we could get an early start to Colorado. The alarm screeched in the morning and we hustled to get the coach ready for the road. I thought is was strange that it was still dark out but never mind that. After everything was set up, I checked the watch to see if we were ...
