... were not up to par. They were frozen scrambled eggs which had been warmed up. Yuck! They also had French Toast sticks which rank right up there with me in the category of Eggo waffles, another item I never eat. Hopefully we make a rest stop soon so we can pick up a more palatable breakfast option. But, the rooms were clean, spacious and secure. So, a lousy breakfast isn't the be all and end all. Commercial Street is the very beginning of the Old Port section of town. It's where everyone goes to take a ferry or tour boat ride, shop for souvenirs and find a great place for lunch or dinner. It can be hard, or nearly impossible, to find a place to park if you don't get there early in the day. There is a $10.00 lot, but even that fills up fast. ... Brown Harbor Real Ale was unlike any beer I have ever tasted. It had quite the festival spunk to it. This one was a light ale but very cinnamon tasting, a great Christmas feel. Lastly was Gearys Hampshire Special Ale. At first I wasn’t a fan of this as I took my first couple sips. As I received my meal I enjoyed it a lot more.
