We got there and even though we drove around and liked the look of the place, there was actually no motels or hotels which was odd.     Tuesday, Feb 17th: When we went to leave in the morning, the rig refused to budge! The wheels were iced in. John had to borrow the shovel once again(they were not helpful...didn't have any sand or kitty litter and no offers of help.) So much for you, Joplin KOA! John did his magic, got us unstuck, and we drove out of Joplin.

    Left St Louis crossed the Mississippi River not much corn growing here more beans. Wee are using a Garment GPS to get directions on where Route 66 is. The GPS is always trying to send us back onto the highway. Some times we come to. An intersection the Route 66 sign points left the GPS says go right, very easy to get lost.
