The End of Offa's Dyke Path
... The necessary ingredients for tired legs. The hotel is also on front row of the beach, and we had ordered a room with sea view which was organised.
So a very relaxing place, with absolutely nothing to do except walk along the beach and rest. Probably not worth coming here unless its related to the walk...
It will be an early night for rest, and back to London tomorrow around 3pm.

... another day of heat as the hill climbing would have been slightly criminal if not.
Very little else to add, apart from the fact that the cottage we are spending the night is very nice, and the owners extremely friendly (with a big cup of tea and scones with marmalade waiting for us at arrival).
The owner drove us to the local pub "The Downing Arms" where we had a splendid meal and a good night walk back to the farm. The owner was waiting for us with the log fire on....

Location, location, location
... possible routes for the pylons and not even a preliminary decision will be made until May. While we don't mind looking at pylons, we don't want to buy a house and then find that there is a power line to be run over it, which would make it unsaleable. So much pencil work on the map has been required.
The hunt continues - the word is that lots more people put their houses on the market at Easter so we shall be poised over the property websites!
