... even though the tide was out and we had to walk 500 metres to the sea it was worth it! Back to "the most popular bathers" shop in the British Isles 2012/2013/2014 to buy just another pair...oh, and a little bit of shopping in the VAT free St Peter Port.

Three days in Guernsey with a day trip to Sark was quite a change from Iceland - both are islands but SO different. Our first port of call was the island of Guernsey, just a bit north of France. While technically a part of the United Kingdom, the island certainly had a French feel to it (signs, food, etc). Friday 13th June.
