... over to my son Shawn's home for a nice visit with he and his family. After an hour or so we had to get back on the road to home.

It was a 12 hour drive to visit family and attend a wonderful performance. I was stiff, tired and sleepy when we finally got back to Pewaukee. I was also happy, proud and glad I went to see a wonderful, gracious and just plain nice entertainer, who just happens to be a member of my family. Stacy and Jim---Ya done good.. ...

... Eric’s dad, Rick, lived with us (my parents Tom, Bill, Mare, Jim, Carol & Con) in Minneapolis for a few years when he was in High School (1962-63?) and was like a brother to me. (He taught me how to tie my shoes.) So the “Old Roommates” title on this post has several correlations. .

So back to the Odyssey… Shoot… Eric, we'll miss you & Jack ...

The crew on this train have been very nice, they gave us a complimentary meal tonight since we will be on the train an extra 10 to 11 hours. The picture below was taken at dinner tonight, the ladies seated with us are some of the people we have been sharing a car with.

I hope everyone is doing well and I will update again when I get a chance!

... to being away. And, all in all, I miss Justin. But at least I know we can be apart. Both of us gets extremely bored, but we can do it. So when I go away to Scotland in the spring, we'll be okay. I hope.

Anyways, though, I haven't done a whole lot since I've been home. Went shopping, hung out with my friends, bothered Lauren and her boyfriend, made a scrapbook. ...
