It is 10:30 at night and we have finally crossed into Minnesota. We are all very tired, and Mattias is asleep. We have only another 20 minutes to go to get our friends, the Erickson's, house. We can't wait to see them and our other friends the Pelowitzs ...

- I feel friendship. New acquaintances were formed everywhere we went. Whether a new host family, a new vocational visit, or a new club there were easy handshakes and familiar smiles. Thanks to all of you for your incredible hospitality.
... Eric’s dad, Rick, lived with us (my parents Tom, Bill, Mare, Jim, Carol & Con) in Minneapolis for a few years when he was in High School (1962-63?) and was like a brother to me. (He taught me how to tie my shoes.) So the “Old Roommates” title on this post has several correlations. .

I have many friends/peers/family/associates/etc who can cook somewhat and others who don't know how to boil water (aka my little sister Abbie). So I hope to start this blog fairly quickly during my holiday, and will send a link to that and do not be afraid to forward to anyone else, whether they cook or not...Thanks again for the Love!!
