    ... visits that makes an impression on you---or at least it did me. I like the idea of being able to take a gondola to the top, drink wine in a BEAUTIFUL setting, then ski back down to the base and car. Wait a minute---that must be the wine talking, as there wasn't ANY snow today. Even if you CAN'T ski off this hill, it STILL is a neat experience to ascend to the castle winery via a gondola tram.

This one in California cost us $36, was out back from an information center/gift shop, and you were able to walk up just feet from the eruption area. There was nothing to keep someone from walking right out into the hot water. The eruption was impressive at 60 – 100 feet of water with a temperature of 350 degrees, and it lasted about five minutes.
