... out to be the Texas Motor Speedway. I was not able to get a photo of this immense facility, but I found one on the internet. This place is impressive, to say the least.

I have to say, Fort Worth appears to be very prosperous. Everything we saw from the highway looked neat and clean and new. We saw a lot of construction going on, a lot of beautiful houses in neat neighborhoods and a lot of industry…looks like they ...

... to 6 stops on the food tour, all local, all types including a coffee shop, supermarket, bar, and bakery. Our favorite was a maple boudin (kinda like sausage) biscuit. Serina liked it so much she became one of those people who takes pictures of food.

Then we stopped at Vermillionville to listen to their weekly Cajun jam session. It's a really tight community!

... Sorry Nashville, even though you have a great restaurant scene, you are too darn HOT and MUGGY! July 3rd. We left Destin along hwy 10 to Fairhope Alabama. I had heard of its quaintness. Beautiful city with flowers everywhere and great shopping. Unfortunately we could only spend an hour there. Again too hot and muggy, like Nashville. Long driving day. Had to switch campgrounds. Well we were supposed to leave camp at 8:30am and it is now 11am and we are only just leaving. I set my alarm for 7:30 but at 7am I was kind of awake anyway and then Nicole calls to us and says we are leaving asap. It started chucking it down in the night and everything was soaked so everyone wanted to get out of the campsite. Also Texas has had some major floods recently and the stream that was behind us was now a raging river. ...

... Factory (oldest in America) too early for their tour, so I checked out a few things, bought a couple things, and then we headed back home.
The next day, we took a drive over to the Tabasco plant and store on Avery Island - we did the tour just a couple of years ago, so I just stopped into the store to pick up a few things.
Heading to N'awlins on Thursday, and Keri will fly in on Wednesday for a long weekend.
