On Sunday we drove to Villiersdorp to visit Ben's 87 year old Grandad and family. We had an amazingf fish soup and white fish for lunch. The best home cooked meal we'd had for a while.

... to sit and try spot them. There was a German man who we were admiring his Camera lens said the "whales are just over there", no being sure what we were looking for we couldn't see them. After a windy lunch we stopped to try and spot again. Trying to decide if the black thing in the distance was whale or seaweed, suddenly we noticed one below by the rocks. We ran down the rocks to get better pictures and were happy we were the first ones ...

... is Elands Baai, the shortest route via Franschhoek, but just to stop those who said that we'd be back in a week we're going a lot longer way round, there will be no Spongebob spottings in Franschhoek until we come home.

... Once at sea we could see how windy it was and there were only a handful of other boats out with divers. We managed to get into the cage and we actually saw a few sharks which was pretty sweet. One came within 6 feet of the cage and swam right by, while another one swam underneath us and attacked the fish head that they used to lure them closer. It only lasted 15minutes which sucked and there was no sharks rushing the cage or jumping out of the water but it was still ...
