Today we arrived in Baileys Harbor, in the lovely Door County, WI (Cape Cod of the Midwest!), our home for the next five days.
Getting here over the last two days was beautiful. After sleeping 10 hours (!), we left Charlevoix mid-morning for a walk along the beach at Fisherman's Island State Park. The next day we started by taking a 4 mile hike along Lake Michigan. We rewarded ourselves after exercising with miniature golf (which we tied in), cheese and wining tasting, and some afternoon beers at some of the local bars in Fish Creek. Our time in Door County concluded with yet another sunset and drinks and food around our campfire.
