    Day 11: Neuquén (travel day)

A travel blog entry by millieandjames on Jul 11, 2015

WE DID: - Bus from Bariloche to Neuquen (5.5 hours). This was our first experience of Argentine long distance buses, with many more to come! We basically spent the afternoon/evening slumped in the hotel frantically researching a way to see some dinosaur bones the next day... WE LOVED: Erm, gotta be honest we didn't see much of Neuquén but I'm sure it's lovely.... If a little dodgy in ...

... You may think, why the hell would you get back in the car after 12 hours of driving the day before? Well, this was like some kind of therapy. Seeing the snow-capped mountains, the deep blue lakes, the green forests and breathing in the fresh morning air was revitalising. It felt as if we were driving through a postcard. Compared to the day before, it didnīt even feel like driving, it was more like we were drifting as ...

We spent Christmas with Nick, Connie, Sofi & Lucas, along with Connie's family: her three sisters & one brother, their partners and their children, all round at her parents' house. Traditionally, the big family celebration is on the night of Christmas ...
