Saturday 14th January
Today we visited Tenerife where we took a tour to part of the island we had not seen before. Unusually we used a taxi on this occasion because we wanted to see parts which were not readily accessible by coach. The highlight was a viist to a small town called La Oratova.

We spent a day exploring the city of Santa Cruz, before deciding it was not unlike most of the main cities we have been to. But we did take time out for a little retail therapy............even if it was mainly window shopping.

Awaroa arrived into the marina later that evening and we decided to head out the next day down the coast and base ourselves for some travel inland.
