Villa de Leyva Day 2
... Hilarious. We went to the very nice tourist information center again and learned about the Paleontology Museum. It was about a 20 minute walk, past some beautiful houses, but when we arrived we discovered they were closed on Mondays. Doh. So we walked back to the town center and went to a lunch place recommended by the LP. Had a very good set lunch. The typical which I have described many times with slight variations. Stepping back in time in Raquira
... already I was going to need to leave for one more look around the market before taking a bus to get back to Villa de Leyva, else I'd be also part of this village tapestry stuck in a timewarp, way in the Colombian past but to be honest I could think of worse places to be stuck with all the wonderful fruits, vegetables, fresh food and welcoming people. I made one more stop at an empanda stand and got myself a beer for the road.
