The boat trip was made funnier by the crazy Swiss captain and his advice on how to buy land in Brazil - get a local pregnant or just buy a baby!! The evening then ended in the usual way, more socialising, more games and £2 bottle of rum!! Turns out this Island has more stray dogs than tourists. They are every where. How did they get here, they must have caught the ferry. Very confusing. But they seems to exist in gangs. Rude Dog and the Dweebs ainīt got nothing on this lot.

... A local icecream man was tooting a horn touting for business and as I glanced over I tripped over a trailing strap. Wouldn`t have been too bad had the small heavy day bag not been on my back. I went down on my knees, it shot upwards, fulchrum shifted and down I went in a sort of roll. The icecream guy thought it was hilarious. I am pleased to report that all the time we were in the area he didn`t sell a single icecream!
