We spent the morning of the 31st chilling out and drove to downtown Playa like at 9 pm to get there for the David Guetta show at the Mamita's Beach Club, which started at 8 and was crowded as you can't imagine. There were 12,000 persons in the club that night to watch the show. We were lucky to find a parking spot like 4 blocks from the club but is probably best to take a cab if you plan to get there after 6pm ...
... friend's home. Carlos is about 25 and his mother about 45. She speaks no English but is so lovely and cooks the best breakfast and Carlos (who does speak English) has been so welcoming and helpful. We're also the only ones staying so it's very peaceful. The building is beautiful and they have a lovely collection of old furniture and art. I'll try to make sure we take some photos.
