When we get off, there's a Mariachi band playing right on the dock with a bunch of booths set up with Mexican crafts, souvenirs, t-shirts, etc. They even have a bar set up there with $1.50 beer. The thump of the dumpers hitting the beach would have affected a light sleeper on one of the more costly sites nearest the beach. It was also hot at night and the onset of flu or something similar didn’t help me sleep that well either.

Later on in the day we hailed a taxi to town whose driver stopped en route for an ice cream which he licked casually whilst tearing around the twisty road back to the city ...

On the VHF radio we tried to hail a marina for a berth when our friend Paul, on s/y Cementress called us and he relyed the new marina and booked us in for a week.We called friends ...
