Its a nice looking city with a lot of Georgian buildings - no high rise towers or skyscapers. The focal point is the spire - a tall pointy sculpture sticking up like a large pin - quiet controversial amongst the locals (because it was such a simple design yet cost so much). Also lots of statues of prominent Irish individuals such as Daniel O'Connell, Molly Malone, James Joyce etc.

Tired, Cold, Hungry and Happy
... The trail basically goes on to White Hill. In White Hill there was a man made created trail of wood that we followed. It said that the reason for this is to protect the area from further erosion. I have to say I really enjoyed this hike. It started to get cold and pour heavily. There weren't any trees just open space because we were on top the mountain.
