We've seen on palm trees since we left Florida. Now we're in an area covered with slender Long Needle Pines and the ever-present Live oaks. Lots of familiar sights today. Things that just screamed "You're getting closer!". I passed Kroger stores and Interstate 75. Stopped for lunch with less than 100 miles to go. Saw signs for I 95. ... this spot. We also checked on the hardwoods we had planted in the food plots. Some of the food plots were so wet we'd sink 4 or 5 inches in the mud! I'm glad we bought me a pair of LL Bean rubber bottom boots. The hunt club had plowed all the food plots before the heavy rain on Tuesday.
