... There is still a very strong northeaster. We are staying in an Inn facing Pamlico Sound - much more protected than facing the ocean.

I was hoping to see the Roses and or the Wine and cheese parties that everyone used to talk about; but either we were too early in the season or they don't do this anymore. We stayed just the one night and moved to Pelican Marina for the week.

Segways. A great invention. A lot of fun. Marvelous to get around. Easy to ride. Not too easy to crash but I managed it.
