... was a museum volunteer and veteran of the Vietnam War. He was standing near a F-100 "Super Saber" airplane built by North America. He told us how he flew a plane like this in the Vietnam War and was shot down twice but managed to escape capture by running and diving into a rescue helicopter. Wow, the stories he could tell! After leaving Mt. Rushmore we headed to Custer State Park which features the "needles highway" and "the wildlife loop road".
