Here we are in Rapid City, South Dakota. The game plan for today is to wake up slowly, head over to explore Mt Rushmore, stop by Custer for the best voted burger in the country, and relax the rest of the day away. We're at a beautiful Hilton Garden Inn--very comfy--and the kids definitely want to check out the pool. We'll stay in the same place tonight and continue on to Sioux Falls tomorrow. ... the size of Geelong ..or maybe a bit smaller. We walked a few streets, watched a demonstration on roller derby...the girls are pretty tough. It was very amusing..they were dressed in various outfits...some not that flattering!.. We had dinner at the Fire Station Brewing company...big place ...nice food and atmosphere. Very busy place. We then headed back to motel...had a few more drinks ..and then off to finishing the blog. Another big day tomorrow to Deadwood and Hill ...

We are currently based in Deadwood South Dakota which is about 10 miles from Sturgis. What a crazy place with crazy people and bikes. We rolled in this morning and the number of bikes I think blew us all away. The place is like a total circus with vendors selling everything imaginable and the weird come out to play. There are the topless, the moonshiners and the try hard bikers all in a big melting pot. Basically all ...
