... is about the same distance but we had so much fun in our last two-day five-state trip we may try it again - but add an extra two hundred miles to make it interesting.

So we plan to leave tomorrow and drive to Garrison, MT and the next day drive to Portland -- 5 states [SD, WY, MT, WA, OR] and nearly 1300 miles. If we get tired we will take the extra day -- but heading home the driving seems to be easier ...
