      ... Francisco Nob Hill (snob hill?) an affluent district, home to many of the city's upper-class families. The Haight-Ashbury district, the center of the 1960s Hippie movement, still has brightly painted houses but looks gentrified now. Michael managed to adapt quickly to driving on the wrong side of the road and follow the intersection etiquette. The drivers seem very patient.

      It felt glorious to sleep in after such a long week. After dragging ourselves out of bed, Jonathan and I grabbed a sandwich at the nearby Whole Foods and piled in the car to drive through Napa. It was a gorgeous sunny day (rain had been predicted) and Jonathan said we were going to a surprise place.

      ... who are very funny and entertaining. Beside the dogs are the most annoying animals known to man; geese. They squawk like they're being eaten alive all the time, rather overshadowing their duck buddies.

      When we got to our little hotel, a little balcony greeted us.. Yay! After scouring the internet, we decided on Whole Foods, yet again.. After being away for so long, we love it when we can get some nice salads and olives and just sit without having to be at a restaurant.
