Most may say that wine tasting is something you should do exclusively with your girlfriend or spouse, but not Alex and I. Saturday morning came early as we filled up the car with gas at $3.79/gallon, about the cheapest around here. Then, we headed to Napa to see our niece, Staci, and my sister-in-law’s son-in-law, Vincent, aka ...

... you can't take dogs in the tasting room so he built an outdoor 'suite' for dogs to chill out in whilst the owners get their wine on, how cool! We then travelled further down the Silverado Trail to ZD wines, a much smaller scale vineyard with 26 employees. Here we tasted some fantastic wines, and treated ourselves to a bottle of C******nay, unusual for us as we do not normally like C******nay, but wow! We saw the 2012 Pinot Noir ...
