    Napa! Who would have ever guessed that we would love California as much as France! Or at least THIS part of California! Our house for the last 3 weeks has been magnificent beyond words.

    ... the class and see The Lego Movie.

    It was great, especially because JTill and I snuck in with a block of cheese and a flask of wine to see the movie. I regret nothing.

    We came out of the movie singing the very addicting theme song and chilled out for a while at the house. Once we were hungry again, we went to a local bar and grill for dinner downtown and then came back home. I was ready to sleep after such a day of excitement.

    ... a section of the upper deck collapsed onto the lower deck and the bridge was closed for a month. They have reconstructed the eastern section as a suspension bridge which only opened in September and is currently the world's widest bridge. We stopped at Treasure Island for a view over the bay to see the San Francisco skyline at sunset before heading to the Nespresso shop for a long awaited coffee.

    ... to look at. Into Napa town and there are blooming crepe myrtle trees everywhere in shades of pink, mauve and white. So pretty!   Decided on the Oxbow markets for lunch. Good choice Sherry as all the food was so tasty. Mmmmm, Napa Valley organic produce. I'm enjoying a bigger selection of food than fish (which I don't eat) since leaving Alaska!    Found our little rental house and relived to find its actually there ...

    ... the next few days Pete and I spent quite a bit of time in the Elks RV campground preparing the motorhomes for our journey out and back on the road. We installed my AAA foam fire extinguisher under the bed engine cover (which is the cover for the big Cummins 400 hp turbo engine that pushes the beast).
