... Yuk! We ended up at some burger place which wasn’t much better. Atlantic City is definitely foodie hell! That afternoon we headed to the beach – one of my most favourite pastimes. They have been running a lot of ads on TV about AC’s beautiful beaches so we were appalled when we climbed over the dunes and saw the beach for the first time. NOT beautiful white sand and blue water but brown/black sand with murky water. Someone did an amazing editing job on those ...

      Day #4: Cheese!

We ate breakfast on this overcast Monday at the Red Hen Bakery (where ironically we had already had their bread at a few restaurants). We worked our way to Cabot Creamery for a tour which was pretty neat but not fantastic, but we did get to ...

Turns out we really only knew about 4 songs but had a good time. As I was watching the people around and in front of me that were so into the music, I ...

We are here at the Jersey shore and had the drizzel rain and grey skys of the Northwest yesterday. This morning we woke to beautiful blue skys and sunshine. 75 and a little breeze at the beach. Walked on the boardwalk here in Brigatine and out to the water to see all the shells. Had a lunch at a little greek cafe and ate outside in the sun. After ...

      Summary

We drove 210 miles in 4 hours.

      Highlights

We were still reeling from the weekend and the news from Jade that she had decided to pull out of her planned trip to meet us.....2 days prior to the departure date.

So our spirits were not particularly high when we rolled into town. Atlantic City is another one of those towns that is far more famous than it should be. It has definitely passed its prime, though looking at it ...
