We left Niagara Falls via the Rainbow Bridge into Niagara Falls, New York. We didn't spend anytime there, but from what I saw the U.S. side of Niagara Falls is definitely the ugly step sister to the Canadian side. :) Road tolls seem to be the norm here. It obviously works here as the interstate is in excellent condition, ditches are cut and there is no trash in ...

... visited 7 states and one Canadian province. The Lakes & Lobsters group had 248 people and 177 motorcycles. I'm proud to be able to say we accomplished all this and made some amazing friends along the way.

... and we just went from there. Small. Plates. Tasty. Yummy.

The following day meant we had to come to terms with our shopping decisions as we all struggled to stuff our suitcases. We had time to visit the Old Port once again and have a last meal at Eventide, where we once again enjoyed fresh oysters and that most fabulous lobster roll on a steamed bun with browned butter.

There couldn't be a better way to end this visit!

We wanted to eat lobster and oysters on the half shell, track elusive moose, and watch the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean when we visited Maine for three weeks. We were more than satisfied by accomplishing three of those goals and happy to leave the moose for another visit to this most northeasterly state in the U.S.
