Driving to maine we decided to open a Disco tech bar with Mashups of modern day pop re-mixed disco. Tvs, led disco ball, and roller skates. Le Disco Tech was born. Visited USM so basil could really re-live his days working the mailroom, and his daily meetups on the smokers bench. And they have Creamsicle colored fire hydrants. Found a little spot to get brunch, The Front room- amazing corned beef ...

... and decided that the injury wasn't that bad, so they left him to rest for the day and eventually he went back into the water on his own.

After that the drive up to Maine was quite boring, taking 495 to skirt around Boston, getting caught in a little bit of Friday traffic, but not too much, and eventually making it up here to Brunswick just in time to watch the Giants lose Game 3. C'mon Boys, get it together!

... preserved area with a loop road that we drove around and along the way we stopped for different views and wandered down walking trails.  The scenery varied from the mountain top bedrock and ground cover, to tall firs, deciduous foliage, rugged coastline, running streams and sandy beaches.  We even stopped by a lake with beaver homes built in it. ... went home to drop.

What a surprise the next morning was. We woke up to the most amazing surroundings. Looking out the window we saw squirrels running around, a chipmunk even! It was picture postcard stuff. We soon found this was to be the typical scenery of Maine. Even driving through general suburbia the homes and public areas are postcard worthy. It really is gorgeous.

After the best banana bread, coffee etc, we headed north….
