Before long the rain got extremely heavy, we could hardly see, water was pouring off the roads & the ditches were overflowing. Today was a driving day from Denali on our way to Valdez. We did manage one last ranger talk in Denali - a sled dog demonstration of Alaskan Huskies. With all of the modern technology it's ironic that the most reliable form of transportation during the harsh winters are still sled dogs.
