          We went to the local county Health Department today to have another series of shots ---- Hep B and Typhoid. Hep B is given in 3 shots. I will need another after 4 weeks and the last one within 4 - 6 months. Typhoid vaccine lasts for 2 years. previously had Hep A vaccination and a booster shot and updated my tetanus. We are not getting Yellow Fever or ...

Lake Lure Tours generously donated 31 beach access bands which gave everyone access to water slides and the swimming area. It was so fun! Carlee and Alicia ambitiously attempted to recreate "the lift" from aforementioned favorite movie, I went down some water slides, Christine found her future instrument of choice at the Lake Lure Arts & Crafts ...

          ... to the estate, which was an ordeal in itself. We had to drive to one place to pick up our will call tickets, then get in the car and drive to another place to park the car and take a shuttle to the entrance. Once at the entrance, we learned that there were no bathrooms in the house, only at the stables, so we had one more delay.

          ... loved the student Union building. It is adjacent to the football / lacrosse stadium and also connected to the Performance Hall / Theater. The Union building itself is a very open, three story building with a cafe, the workout room, various offices, post office, pool tables, tv, fireplace, etc. It was easy to envision how it would look full of students studying and just hanging out and felt like a real hub.
