      ... in less than a month, and as much as I am eager I am definitely nervous about the course load. With all my classes being taught in Spanish, and the last Spanish class I took being 3 years ago you could say I'm fully prepared... not.       ... On Saturday, Ben and I explored the small ESF campus. We thought there'd be fewer people about because it was the weekend, however, it seems that we happened to stop by on a game day at the Dome. It was like a mass influx of students, adults, and children walking to the Dome. There was A LOT more traffic on the roads and sidewalks. Everyone was sporting the Syracuse color: Orange.

      ... University, but there did not seem to be any parking places that we could find. Then we were going to walk a bit to look for the Moosewood Restaurant. We ended up using the GPS and driving in circles around a street construction area. Finally, we located the Moosewood and had a lovely, extremely filling, British Isles dish called Rumpledethump that Emma had never heard of but suspected might be Scottish and Google confirmed her suspicion.

      Departed Chicago for Syracuse

      ... even offered me a box to take the rest with me, but decided it wouldn't be too good after being on the road for a couple of hours. Went to Rolling Rock Speedway and had a chat to the only Australian driver Kerry Madsen and an American Chad Cavanagh - both really nice, so I was going for them. Kerry came 4th and poor old Chad was towards the back of the pack. A couple of big crashes but thankfully no injuries - well serious ones ...
