Well. It's official. I'm am FINALLY going to Sicily! Being able to spend 11 weeks in Sicily is a dream come true and I could not be more excited for it. The reason I will be in Sicily all summer is Camp Adventure, the program I went to Hawaii with last summer. I will be a day camp counselor on an US Navy base there. ... around the Sibley Horticulture Center, which had a Mediterranean exhibit as well as a tropical exhibit with huge banana trees! They didn't have much written down, just plaques with names of the plants. I guess since it's a private attraction with high end lodges and golf course, it doesn't have a lot of educational resources geared towards school children?
