Our week in Vancouver

In no time at all the axles and wheels were reattached and the stubby ‘plane wheeled into the hangar. Les lifted the now empty box back onto the trailer and a few hours later it too was collected and driven off, from delivery to pick-up, all achieved in a little over 5 hours! A good day’s work and "thank you" to everybody who made it possible.

Some final thoughts on Tanzania
... the trip that of all the countries we could have ended up in, we went to the most African! It was surprising in a way to see such a lush country since often our view of Africa is of an arid and desert-like place. Some international volunteers apparently get to Tanzania and fly back home right away because they're so disappointed that the country is beautiful, that people eat with forks and a good percentage can speak English. Grouse Mountain Skiing :)
... quick! I thought i would be **** at skiing today given we hadn't skied since Big Bear however I was pretty good (I think the non-icy conditions helped) and only had once minor graceful 'fall' when i gracefully sat on my bum :)
We had lunch at Altitudes Bistro which was yummy :) It was also a much needed 'get warm' break.
