We had a hot trip up the Hudson today. Not a whole lot to see but a smooth trip. Paul drove Kathy's car and stopped along the way to get some pictures of us passing by. It is an amazing thing to imagine that these fossils were and still are right under the ground we walk on. Makes you think a little differently about what's under the surface of the earth.

... on this place!!!!!! Hersheys chocolate ok but not a pinch on Lindt!!! So leaving Hershey we took off with ever faithful 'Mary-Lou' the gps and hit the road. We decided we would do the back roads and see where it would take us except Mary-Lou insisted we stick to the main highways. So we re programmed her and we ventured forth to Morrisville North of NYC. We didthe ring road and stopped for coffee and photos ...
... and gelato. It was so good. We shared an appetizer of seared Ahi tuna, which was marinated in soy, ginger, and orange and it was phenomenal. The Quattro Formaggi pizza and the desserts we shared were all delicious as well.
We fell asleep listening to the sounds of the live band and all the loud partying people, and in the morning it was on to NYC baby!
