... the moto tour is already half over. It’s amazing how it seemed like I waited forever for the ride to happen and now it’s flying by. Tonight is our last night in Sicily as tomorrow the ride to the tip of the island and then ferry over to the mainland. From there we will be riding up the coast back to Rome. We are all looking forward to the Amalfi coast and seeing Pompeii.

We headed off early from Amalfi for another cliff side bus trip to Salerno. Only 30 kms but one hour fifteen minutes of tricky bus driving at Italy's exhilirating best. Buonasera!

Being the rebel without a clue that I am, we went off route today and rode out to see Villa Roma; a medieval home of some rich guy that was buried in mud (the house not the rich guy) for centuries thus preserving the extensive mosaic tile work.
