    ... her boot. The Slanted Door opened at 5:30, but we were there at 5, so we spent 30 minutes seated by the bay looking at the Bay Bridge. We got a raised half circle booth with a view when they did open, and we had a great meal. Everyone enjoyed the Imperial Rolls, and for dessert the Lemon Curd and Beignets were very good as well. Don't be scared by the word curd - it's Key Lime Pie with no crust.

    ... up to this weekend... There is so much on.. Both the Giants and the 49rs are playing, the Blue Eagles will be flying past to celebrate my arrival to the city... Lots of festivals and one in the Castro which I'm trying my damn hardest to drag my brother and his girlfriend Maria too... What do I have to do to make this happen????? So back to my day!!!     ... have a very deep soft looking bark which makes them look kind of cuddly from a distance. The walk down to the trees was really pretty and we were able to check lots of plants against a guide card we'd been given. We saw Douglas Firs, Black Oak, White Alderbush and lots of other plants and bushes. The girls had races up the path every now and then too.
