Very nice staff. Very nice facilities including clean, spacious common area with board games, lots of books about New Zealand (like Fodor's) and DVDs and VHS. Bedrooms were comfortable, well-lighted. We stayed in a private room with shared bathroom facilities. They provided a heater for the winter months. Would definitely stay here again. Easy access to lots of cafes, a market, all bus routes. Safe neighborhood as well. lots of car parking for free. Why not five stars: the Internet was so expensive. $6.50 NZ for 250mb or 25 hours, whichever came first. Or on the desktop, 30 min for $2.00 NZ.

So my first day in Auckland, I slept in for a bit, and then made my way to the city center. Auckland, isn't that intresting actually. The city isn't beautiful, the harbour isn't amazing. And yeah, I was generally unimpressed. There were some nice buildings along the road and a cool looking park, but that's about it.I spend a lot of time at the v...

At last we are here, a bit sad as when we left 4 years ago the house was just completed and was in pristine condition, but various tenants and 4 years on…..However to end on a cheerful note, when we go down for the bus an elderly couple point out to...

After a really good sleep I got woken up by Rachael getting up, I went back to sleep again though as I was still slightly tired.

When I did wake up properly I had a message from Rach saying that she had gone out for a walk and if I wanted to meet up with her to just text her. So I text just to find out what her plan was, and as she was ...
