Eye opening and moving experience

Drinking in Krakow...
... that the 30 minute movie at the beginning was lackluster, and that I would have preferred not to have to be guided through the camp. Maybe an audio guide with points, or self guided tour would have suited me better. Overall its an all day ordeal, hour and a half ride out, waiting for the English movie, then tour to start, visiting Birkenau waiting for the shuttle back to Aushwitz, and then the appropriate bus back to Krakow. Genghis runs wild and free...

Wawel Castle
... by the river. The cave is not so much. It is still a living cave so we water dripped on us several times as we walked through. On exiting, as we climb the steps – there it is! The Dragon! Finally! Huzzah! And as we come up the stairs, it spouts fire! Oh what a lovely dragon. There are dragon toys and statues and medallions everywhere so we were quite thankful to finally find it.

Auschwitz
I went to Auschwitz... Apparently there are two camps (Bitanu is the second one - a larger and younger one). I liked both.
Main one was very exhibitory. It really told the story. I especially liked four things: Exhibitions of how people lived in the camps, the hair from people who died (they found the gas remains in the hair - i dont understand how even after that people deny holocost!!!), the crematorium (it was just striking - being there and thinking how many ...
