... along the way. Of course I was worried about Dad and a few of the others making it down in one piece, that I wasn't always watching my step but theirs and ended up falling twice myself. All good, just a bruised ego!

Our reward was lunch at the end of the trail at a hotel/restaurant that had a lovely patio to take in the views. We could have walked the rest of the way back into the town, but it is a boring paved walk with not much to look ...

And then you notice the barbed wire, you hear the commentary from the guide, see the exhibits and inside the buildings and you realise that it is not what it seems.

... on a path made of big rocks. The view was amazing and the water was so clear and fresh. We even filled up our waterbottle on the hike up using run off from the mountains. Then we got the horse and carriage on the way back down the mountain. Then we got the bus to Zakopane and then to Kraków ...

... br> After picking a few berries from the garden for evening snack, I struggle to stay awake to check out the star laden sky. With little light pollution here the stars are extremely vivid according to the owner and I would like to see it for myself. Unfortunately I can't keep my eyes open for the nearly midnight sunset and I put myself to bed before the mosquitoes can suck me dry.
