... The caverns were magnificent, some nearly as big as a football field. Ice on the floors, walls, even an ice tunnel which we had to clamber through. No photos were allowed, so the picture is one from a postcard. One where I was particularly proud of myself for not freaking out! Dont do well underground, or tight spaces. We were 1km within the mountain, and 400m underground, and at that point, climbing DOWN the ice tunnel. ...

... circular hiking trail, we explored interesting sites: echo point, stone circle, etc.
This time, we couldn't use the little train (Hoehenbahn - Schmalspurbahn) directly to the restaurant because the heavy rain undermined two weeks ago the tracks. A temporary path was built and plastic planes covered this area (see pictures).
