    ... to keep partying. I finally managed to get the to go downstairs, with me, and head outside. Some of the other girls were afraid of what would happen. One of the girls came down and yelled at the guys. There were three of us girls standing outside the guest house around 11 pm with a bunch of the Dutch guys, just chit-chatting. Somehow, after we managed to go to bed, a lamp was broken. Either by some of the Dutch kids or one of the American boys on the trip.

My arrival was very early in the morning and I was unable to check in but, was made to feel welcome and to place my pack in a locker room and have coffee, make myself comfortable in a lounge etc. Later the girl showed me the room and even carried my pack three flights of stairs. Firstly a dyke was build called a ring dyke.A series of mills were constructed on this dyke and the pumping of the water of the lake had began.As the water level lowered a second row of mills was constructed and lowered the water even more.
