Feuerwerk in Bern

... the missionaries there had headsets that we'd listen to, and one of them was speaking in them and translating the whole meeting into English. It was kind of neat!
After church, we went back to the condo in Lauterbrunnen, got regular day clothes on, and hopped in the van to go explore Grindelwald.

After the museum we walked past the church then onto the bears. Bern has traditionally kept bears due to the town's namesake. We then walked back along the main street to ensure we would see the Zytglogge (clock tower) chime. It was a bit disappointing as everyone was standing around watching and nothing really happened! Capital visit
... wandering my chosen path through town. I went to the Rauthaus (city hall) building just as 12pm was striking on the many church clocks. The bells rang throughout Old Town, echoing off the old buildings and down the snow laced streets, seeming to come from every direction, surrounding me where I stood much like the snowflakes still falling softly around me.
