... We couldn't seem to get him to cooperate with us to organise us a taxi so in the end we spoke to the manager of our new accommodation. He told us there was a bus at 3:40 and it stopped right outside. We waited outside near the road and waited for the bus. The young girl who cleaned the rooms also appeared to be waiting for the bus. ... onto the jungle and the mountainside. It is pleasant here, but there were cockerels nearby in the early morning. Tahiti, Gauguin and chickens somehow tie together in my mind.
