Week 32 – Let Those Wedding Bells Ring!
... 6am and with the wedding on the next day it was time to call it a night!
Saturday! Wedding day!!! Woke a little fragile but excitement soon took over and before we knew it everyone was ready and in the cabs heading to the absolutely magnificent castle! The lord and lady of the castle greeted us with their entourage and escorted us to the knight’s hall where we were seated and awaited what turned out to be a beautiful bride and dashing groom to come walking ...
Tired Day..

After a while on the beach we continued our walk around the lake, seeing slightly altering views of the castle and island as we continued around. Next stop was the Bled Summer Toboggan run, which is basically a monorail with seats attached that winds down a 500m hill at speeds of up to 40km/hour. After eating, we walked around until we found a tourist information center and scored ourselves a nice map. At that point, we figured out that we had to walk about 5 kilometers to get to the lake! The longest day
... and just as I was paying our final toll I managed to make something go twang in an epic way in my shoulder, never mind we were nearly there!
We weren't staying in Venice itself as it was a last minute decision to visit and the prices for hotels and parking were in the nicest terms, utterly ridiculous so ended up in a wee village called Marghera where a lot of Venezian workers live anyway, it had a delicious Pizzeria as well

... the city, we headed back to our hostel for a 5 euro all you can eat barbeque!!! hello. so sweet. Also, pints of beer were only 2.50.
We weren't planning on drinking but had to for a couple reasons. First, the semi final game (Spain vs Germany) of the world cup was on.... (FYI Spain won). And secondly, we ran into our friends Sarah and Trevor from Hvar again!!!!! yay so exciting!"!!
