    ... John Wayne" as I stepped like a drunk. Ha!!! As you will see in the photos the narrow streets & the river that surrounds the city & canoeists can be seen paddling the river. Our your guide walked us around for an hour after then it was free time till our lunch. We actually visited the "torture museum" that was was as much torture getting in as was the the gruesome display of implements that they used. Very dark, so much so ...

    Today we had a cruisie morning. Woke at 8:30 (needed the rest), breakfasted, watched some Greys Anatomy, checked out. Then we mozzied around the village of Cesky Krumlov. Had a delicious lunch at the hotel receptionist recommendation. Cost $15 aud each. Grilled Camembert, soup, pancake dessert. The dessert wasn't nice so we had some very very tasty crepes.     ... bag before one last dinner in town and a walk up the hill to capture it by starlight. Well worth the trek!

    Saturday saw me up early and off to catch the 9am bus back to Prague, and then mooch around the train station for a few hours spending my last Czech Koruns before the train takes me back to Germany. It’s been a great week in the Czech Republic, I’d love to come back and spend more time in Prague - I didn’t even get time to visit the castle!

    ... our hotel we stopped for a beer and garlic chips on the side of the cliff above the river with the Cloak bridge and tower before us. A perfect way to end the day.

    There really aren’t that many sights to visit as such in CK. The whole town is like a museum in itself! Of course you can’t miss the castle, but apart from that, we were content with just walking around, relaxing on or by the river, and enjoying the wonderful vistas and laid back atmosphere of this fairy tale ...

    ... today to complete the picture. Ok no snow but a little cooler as we neared along the riverside..a very beautiful place. 10 out of 10. Lovely breakie and off to explore this beautiful little place, up to the castle which was magnificent. Aches and massive paintings on the walls. Second biggest castle in Europe with huge gardens and geometric designs of toparies and plants. Gardens in summer would be magnificent as they were ...
