          ... the bear was family symbol and so they have always had bears in the surrounding moats. When the bears die, they skinned them and put the furs in random rooms of the castle. Weird, huh?

          Other than that, I took some more pictures of my times just wandering around my beautiful home city and I was preparing for my spring break trip to Italy which I will write about in my next post!

          ... out, but you say it Cheskay Boodayoovitsa) and were a little unsure about the place, as there weren't many people around. But we found our hostel just fine, and after smiling and gesturing a lot at the receptionist who had no English, we settled in for a quiet afternoon of wandering through the shopping centre across the street trying to work out what all of the signs meant.
          Next day we spent wandering the streets trying to find the Old Town ...

          Everything here is centered on the river, but the speed at which it
          flows contrasts the way everything else happens in town. Things tend
          to unfold with that stereotypical European slowness: relaxed conversations extend luxurious suppers, one bottle of wine turns to two or three, and somehow sipping a thimble sized espresso is the most demanding task of one’s morning.
