I'm on the way home now. All the adventures are over. After the last scary one that’s probably a very good thing. This morning I left Cortina my home of a week to drive the two hours to Venice to drop off the car and catch a train via Verona to Innsbruck, Austria.

Woke up to the first bit of rain on tour. Then headed out in a 25km mountain bike ride through the back roads in town. Finished off with a traditional bbq. Went to t trout farm and had a look around but didn't want to to catch them because they were well under legal for NZ. After this the plan was to go paragliding but the weather turned to **** and it got ...

... traveling an extra 28kms each way. Watched the Italian locals doing hay, most of this appears to be a very manual process, hand raking in corners and down hills, funny how labour intensive it was.

Back across the border, this was noticeable, the Italian side is run down with rusted side railings where in Austria it's all galvanized again. Italians have a saying if it ain't ...
