... and see if the underground part was open, it was, but there was a queue. Ben was ready to give it a miss but the line was short so we convinced him to stayed. Lucky he did, because it only took 10mins or so to get in in the end and it turned out that the delay was just due to the security screening.

As you would expect, the memorial was very moving. The underground section is made up of about 5 rooms which follows the stories ...

It will all turn out right in the end ...

Today has been one of those days where it didn't go to plan but worked out OK in the end ... I was full of frustrations and getting lost and going on a non planned walking tour of the Berlin equivalent of 5th Avenue! ...but oh well that's all part of travel! After a nice relaxing morning chatting to friends, I headed to the 'Story of Berlin Museum' looked up the U Bahn map ...

... I was going to sleep in and stay at home. I want to walk to the two churches I found online and see which one I want to attend on Sunday. It was time for some lunch and as we had decided to walk to the Jewish Museum we wandered along and looked for a restaurant about half way. It was not until after lunch did I realise the map was printed upside down so a taxi was called for
