... not to be messed with. Going quite well until I reached Lostwithiel and asked an extremely ancient local for directions..Through his thick Cornish accent I deciphered only "that way" as he pointed with gnarled finger. Two hours later of walking in the lanes I emerged back the main road 500 yards from where was. Thankfully for him the old sod was nowhere to be seen! Going forth I then found a cycle path leading into Liskeard ...

Nothing could prepare me for the cold there.

... from Falmouth had seen me in Plymouth and I got a ride all the way to Truro. Then I took the bus to Plymouth :) also got invited to an electro swing/ soul party. Sick! By the time I got the pennence mill farm I was we'll sue for some shut eye, so I pitched my tent and the lights were out well before sunset (which is around 930-10ish) ... And then the cold set in.. We ventured in our new van/pad down to Newquay, arriving quite late we were thankful for the late night daylight (the sun sets at around 10.30pm..no joke!) as it gave us time to suss out accommodation and get our first camping dinner organised. The following day was spent at the shops ...
