Chatted with the owner (Mike Meakins) who shared quite a lot about how the village changes when filming is underway. This amazingly beautiful village sits around a small man made harbour which offers protection to a variety of small boats. Was low tide when we arrived and all boats were high and dry. Some lovely sandy beach was bisected by a fast flowing fresh water stream. Walked the tiny streets and checked out the tourist shops and quaint water front cottages. Had fish and chips for lunch sitting ...

Heaced east to Charlestown and walked around this historical sailing boat harbour. Found a wonderful Neptune carved from a huge tree trunk and walked past very old stone church. Cottages here namec after the trade of the owner - Wheelwright, The Cooperage, Cobbler, etc.

Back home to Port Isaac at about 17.00 after a round trip of about 30 miles ( 50km).
Cheryl cooked chicken casserole, we had a drink and did some internet searches for future plans and tomorrow's activities. Weather forecast is better but not wonderful.
Enjoyed two episodes of Doc Martin on ITV - could work out the filming location of many sceens and will be on the look out for others. ...

It's now 26! That's 9 new countries in 11 months. I've been to 12 countries during 2012! That's quite impressive I think.
It means only 4 to go next year.
I am currently planning the Netherlands for the week before my 30th...I am loving this challenge.
